Las Cruces, the second largest city in New Mexico, is ever-growing. Having started out as a small community, the population has grown to over 100,000 and continues to increase each year. Known for its beautiful Organ Mountain views and the colorful sunsets over the Mesilla Valley. The Organ Mountains Desert Peaks National Monument’s 496,000 acres surround Las Cruces, creating the most stunning views and the most worthwhile hiking trails. We also have a weekly Farmer’s and Craft’s Market every Wednesday and Saturday morning in Main Street Downtown. Our Market will celebrate its 45th anniversary this year, and was named “Number One Largest Farmers Market in the Nation” in America’s Farmland Trust’s 2011 prestigious nationwide poll. We have many upgraded parks and even a year around indoor aquatic center. Here is more information on Arts and Entertainment in Las Cruces.
